Getting to Warpstock by train
Get to Arnhem relaxed and get there by train.
These instructions are for people comming from outside the Netherlands.

If you are coming from Belgium you need to travel
to Luik.
Use the website of the Belgium national train operator to plan your
journey N.M.B.S.
From station Liege-Guillemins there is an international train to
Maastricht in the Netherlands every hour. In Maastricht you need to
change trains and take the train to Roermond. In Roermond you take the
train to Nijmegen. In Nijmegen switch train to the train to Arnhem. For
the the journey from the
station Liege-Guillemins to Arnhem use the website of the Dutch
national train operator N.S.
From Liege-Guillemins to Arnhem it takes 2 hours.
People coming from France.
There are about 4 direct Thalys trains to Amsterdam a day. Get of the
train in Rotterdam. From here there are direct train goes to Arnhem.
There are more direct trains from France to Brussels. Every hour there
is an international train to Amsterdam that also stops at Rotterdam.
Use the website of the France national train operator the S.N.C.F. to plan your
journey Rotterdam. For the the journey from the
station Rotterdam to Arnhem use the website of the Dutch

If you use Thalys highspeed train service the trainjourney from Paris
Nord to Arnhem will take 5 hours.
For people coming from Germany.
If you are coming out of the direction Hamburg change trains in the
station Koeln Hbf.
From Koeln Hbf there are trains that directly goto Arnhem. The trip
from Wuppertal to Roermond takes 2
hours. To plan your trip from Hamburg Hbf to Arnhem use the website

The traveltime from Hamburg to Arnhem is 6 hours.
If you are coming to the Netherland with the international train
Amsterdam-Berlin.
Leave the train at station Deventer. From there there are direct
trains to Arnhem. To plan your trip Berlin from Hamburg Hbf to Arnhem

The travel time from Berlin to to Arnhem is about 5 hours and 30
minutes.
There is another local train that leaves from Gronau Westf (just near
the border) to Enschede. It runs every half an hour. In
Enschede you need to get onboard the train to Deventer and in
Deventer you need to change trains to Arnhem.
If you are arriving from the U.K. in Hoek van
Holland by ferry.
You can
take the
train from the station Hoek van Holland haven to "Rotterdam Centraal
Station". From Rotterdam Centraal Station there are direct rains to
Arnhem. It
takes 2 hours Hoek van Holland to Strand to Arnhem. Use the website of

to plan your trip.
The travel time from Hoek van Holland to Arnhem is about 2 hours.
People arriving at Schiphol airport can get to
Arnhem very fast.
There
is a train connection almost every 20 minutes. With 1 or 2 transfers.
It takes about 1 hour and 14 to 20 minutes to

How to get from
the
trainstation in
Arnhem to the StayOkay hostel
First of all Arnhem has a good (throlley)bus network, from Arnhem
train station there is a bus service that between every 10 to 20
minutes comes past the bus stop "ziekenhuis Rijnstate"
(Hospital). From there its about a 5 minute walk UP the hill to the
youth hostel.
You can use the following buslines:
Busline number 20 in the direction "richting Presikhaaf"
Busline number 21 in the direction "richting Velp gld"
Busline number 91 in the direction "richting Apeldoorn".
Busline number 3 in the direction "Alteveer/'t Cranevelt"
The busride takes about 10 minutes.
To get access to the bus you need to get a so called "strippenkaart".
You can buy a "strippenkaart" from the bus driver. Ask the busdriver to
give you signal when to get of the bus!
Second you can take a so called Treintaxi. When you have a trainticket
you can
take a Treintaxi.
At the ticket machine or at ticket window you can buy a ticket for 3
Euro and 80 Eurocents.
There is a Treintaxi stop outside the station. If there is no Treintaxi
you can push a button and within 10 minutes it will arrive. Tell the
taxi driver you need to go Stayokay Arnhem and you will be dropped of
at the doorstep.

Getting to Warpstock
by road
Arnhem is situated in the eastern part of the Netherlands not so far
from the German border and very close to the German cities Emmerich and
Kleve.
If you are coming from outside the Netherlands
a good way
to plan your
trip by car is by using Michelin Route Planner
You can specify your country and city you are about to leave and your
specific target in The Netherlands.

Coming out of
the direction
Oberhausen/Emmerich:
Coming out of the direction Oberhausen/Emmerich
(on the freeway E-35/A3), before Arnhem this
freeway will
become the E35/A12. On the junction "Waterberg" at Arnhem take
exit number 26 towards "Arnhem Noord".
After you have left the highway turn to the left onto the local road
N784
(Apeldoornseweg). You will pass under the A12 and just before crossing
the
first viaduct ahead get in the right hand lane and turn right onto
the "Schelmseweg" .
Follow that road for several 100 meters and take the first road
on the leftside. Then follow the special StayOkay Hostel
signs towards Diepenbrocklaan 27.
Coming out of the direction Belgium:
No matter of which part of Belgium you come from, the easiest way to
Arnhem is to travel via 's-Hertogenbosch. From there take the A50 until
you cross the A12.
Then follow the A12 in the direction of Arnhem and leave at exit 26.
After you have left the highway turn to the right onto the local road
N784 (Apeldoornseweg). Just before crossing the first viaduct ahead get
in the right hand lane and turn right onto the "Schelmseweg" .
Follow that road for several 100 meters and take the first road
on the leftside. Then follow the special StayOkay Hostel
signs towards Diepenbrocklaan 27.
Coming out of the direction Amsterdam Airport
(Schiphol):
Leaving Schiphol follow direction Utrecht. At the Ouden Rijn cloverleaf
(A2/A12 highway crossover) follow the traffic signs towards Arnhem.
You are now on the A12 highway. At junction "Waterberg" leave the
highway at exit 26 towards "Arnhem Noord". Then turn to
the right onto the "Apeldoornseweg". After about 200 meters you will
get a viaduct ahead. Do not cross but get in the right hand lane and
turn right onto the "Schelmseweg". Follow that road for several 100
meters and take the first road
on the leftside. Then follow the special StayOkay Hostel
signs towards Diepenbrocklaan 27.
